The problem: not all traffic is equal

Cheap Russian relays, LTE servers, "jammer" circumvention — pennies or entirely unlimited. There's no point cutting them for the client. But white IPs and CDN are expensive and metered, and it's exactly there that overuse hits your wallet.

If you give the client a shared "20 GB for everything" limit, they'll spend it on penny circumvention routes too, where there's no point counting. The right way is to count the limit only on expensive nodes and make the cheap…
